The design of the Paladin boots is inspired by army footwear patterns. The boots feature top-sider style decorative elements, the toe section has an original "W" curve that also reinforces the toe structure. The result is a comfortable urban boot with an elusive army charm. The sole is glued and stitched with a Stitch-down method, which ensures a secure and tight joint.
The Harris Tweed colorway is made from a combination of beige nubuck and Harris tweed. We recommend using water-repellent impregnation for this color.
Harris Tweed is a tweed fabric, the requirements for which were established by the British Parliament in the Harris Tweed Act of 1993. The name Harris Tweed can only be applied to tweed that has been hand-woven by the inhabitants of the Outer Hebrides in north-west Scotland from locally produced yarn, which must be made from new wool dyed on the same islands. To produce Harris Tweed, wool from Scottish Blackface and Cheviot sheep is used.
